About CottonTroyaMy name is Troya and I'm a neo natural having only transitioned March 1, 2011. I have an MA from the University of Georgia and currently reside in Atlanta, GA with my husband of two years. I've been so blessed to receive so much support from my YouTube sisters, my husband, and from my best girlfriends during this journey. However, during the scary, questioning phases I endure (at least once a week), it is God who reminds me that I am His handiwork, fearfully and wonderfully made. That we should not adorn ourselves merely with braided hair (and twist outs!), but with character and righteousness. My natural hair journey has been a ministry of sorts to my heart.
